essay proposal

for 30% of my grade this year i have to write a 3000 word essay on 2 professional shorts, for this essay ivechosen to look at 2 animations that i recently found and really like both with a theme of death (not too morbid though) the first is a short called 'how to cope with death' by Ignacio Ferraras and the other is a shor called 'farther and daughter' by Micheal Dudok De Wit.

i took these videos when i went to ethiopia in the end i animated a nondescript bird but these were ok as an example of take off and landing on an object.

i got the most out of watching things like this on you tube and then having a go and figureing it out.

this is my first take off line test i did this twice onece in ones and once in twos to see which looked better in the end i went with twos for the whole animation but im thinking of doing it again with a mixture of the two

these are from a project i recently finished, its a simple bird flight done in drawn 2d i also put up my vidieos for reasarch as well some of which are from my trip to ethiopia others are just clips from youtube i found very useful.

first stop motion project

here are a few stop motion things i did in the first term just a bit of cut paper and sand on glass, i really enjoyed doing this because it was pretty streight forward point and shoot work that you can play around with

before i forget

just want to make sure i put these up, my first animations ive done at UWE :-) 
these are continuos clips originally for a zoetrope, at some point i will put up a few bits of work i did before UWE that was also for a zoetrope and a few that where done on pc but using windows movie maker so there a little bit jumpy but i like to think it gives them a bit of charicter.
